In order to tap the Diwali fervour, indigo airline is offering discounted fares to flyers.
IndiGo is offering all-inclusive fares starting at Rs. 1,099 on select routes, according to the airline’s website – goindigo.in.
Some of the other discounted all-inclusive fares start at Rs. 1,099 for flights from Belgavi to Hyderabad, Rs. 2,686 for Chennai to Bengaluru, Rs. 3,811 for Bhubaneswar to Kolkata, and Rs. 2,370 for Chennai to Bengaluru, according to the IndiGo website.
A search on the IndiGo bookings portal showed tickets for a journey from Delhi to Jaipur next week were available from Rs. 3,010.
Some other all-inclusive fares offered by IndiGo started at Rs. 2,407 for flights from Agartala to Guwahati, Rs. 3,910 for Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad, Rs. 5,470 for Patna-Kolkata, Rs. 3,332 for Coimbatore-Chennai, Rs. 3,136 for Bengaluru-Chennai and Rs. 6,192 for those from Guwahati to Delhi.

Indigo cancels 49 flights to and from southern India
National carrier Indigo on Tuesday announced that due to Cyclone Nivar it has cancelled 49 flights to and from southern India on November 25. Nivar is the second cyclone in the Bay of Bengal in 2020. In May, Cyclone Amphan had developed into a ‘super cyclonic storm’.
The flights to or from in the southern region, mainly Chennai, have been disrupted, news agency ANI quoted Indigo. Indigo added that it will monitor the situation and decide on the further course of action for November 26.

“Due to Cyclone Nivar, IndiGo flights to or from in the southern region, mainly Chennai, have been disrupted. 49 flights that were scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled. We will monitor the situation and decide on the further course of action for November 26,” read the IndiGo statement.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Indigo had earlier in the evening said that flight operations to and from Chennai, Rajahmundry, Tiruchirappalli and Vijayawada are likely to be impacted.
“IndiGo Cyclone Alert! Due to cyclonic movement “Nivar”, flight operations to/from Chennai, Rajahmundry, Tiruchirappalli and Vijayawada are likely to be impacted. Any changes/cancellations will be notified via email/SMS. Stay safe and keep a tab on your flight status,” it tweeted.
